Frequently Asked Questions

What is Super Benji?

Super Benji is your AI-powered outbound companion, built to help sales teams run highly personalised email and LinkedIn campaigns without spending hours on manual outreach.

Benji researches your business, finds your best-fit prospects, writes tailored messages, manages follow-ups and helps you build pipeline while you focus on running the business.

No blank canvas. No generic templates. No spray-and-pray. Just smart, relevant outbound that sounds like you.

How can I get started?

Simply head to https://superbenji.ai/get-started/, drop your work email in the blue box, and that will put Benji to work.

Taking your email, Benji analyses your business, suggests your ideal customer profile, finds relevant prospects and builds a campaign for you to review.

You approve the strategy, tweak anything you want, then launch.

How quickly can I get started?

You can get a campaign live in less than 10 minutes through our client portal.

Start by entering your email and claiming a free lead. From there, Benji researches your business, recommends your ideal prospects and builds your first outbound campaign.

For self-service plans, you can review and launch yourself. For bespoke or enterprise support, one of our team can help shape the strategy with you.

Who is Super Benji for?

Super Benji is built for any business focussed on B2B. This doesn’t work for consumer outreach, as our insights and research is built around the recipient’s company and what they’re doing professionally.

Super Benji is being used by founders, startup CEOs, and large sales teams who know outbound matters, and are looking to scale a very personalised approach to email & linkedin marketing, without having to work like a dog. It is especially useful if you have a finite Total Addressable Market (TAM), where reputation matters, and where sales happens in the context of relationships.

Our clients include event and tradeshow organisers looking for sponsors, SaaS and product companies looking to engage their prospects, specialist consultancies and agencies looking to connect with potential clients, finance service firms such as M&A bankers looking to help founders to sell their businesses, and a wide range of other B2B companies who are looking to start the right conversations, with the right prospects.

How can Super Benji help me?

Benji gives you back the time you would normally spend on outbound.
Benji works in the background to:

  1. Find your ideal prospects.
  2. Research each person and company.
  3. Write and send personalised email and LinkedIn messages.
  4. Manage follow-up sequences.
  5. Track engagement and campaign performance.
  6. Help you build your sales pipeline while you focus on sales conversations.

Think of Benji as the outbound work you know you should be doing, handled for you.

Will my messages and emails sound like AI?

No. Benji is built to write messages that feel natural, well researched and human.

Your campaign is based on your business, your audience, your tone of voice and the details Benji finds about each prospect. The result is outreach that feels relevant, not robotic.

You can review and optimise a handful of example messages before your campaign goes live, so you stay in control of the overall messaging approach.

Can I review messages before they are sent?

Before a campaign launches, you can review example messages and approve the overall messaging approach.

Once your campaign is approved, Benji automatically generates and sends messages in the campaign based on that approach. This keeps the campaign moving without you needing to manually approve every single message. There is currently no provision for you to manually approve every message before it’s sent, as that becomes a highly tedious process and typically defeats the purpose of automation.

Will every AI-generated message be perfect? Do you see mistakes?

Benji is built to create thoughtful, relevant and human-sounding outreach, but no AI system is perfect.

We’re working hard to train Benji to generate outreach that you’d send yourself if you had all the time in the world, and we’re constantly optimising Benji to do this. Some of the issues we’re working on optimising include:

  • The prospect has changed roles, but messages are based on their old roles. We work with data providers who have updated 80% of prospects data based on LinkedIn information from the last 2 weeks. We are looking to close the gap for the remaining 20% of prospects, and to reduce the 2 week lag to real-time.
  • Articles referenced are dated. Benji is constantly looking for the latest insights and triggers to engage your prospects, but in some cases there might be limited information and therefore the reference material can be dated.
  • Podcast attribution is incorrect. Occasionally Benji will spot a podcast from a person with the same name as the prospect, or from a company with a similar name to the prospect’s company, and attribute this to the wrong person, or attributing the company’s podcast to the individual we’re reaching out to. We’re currently training Benji to improve his attribution of articles.
  • Inference: very occasionally Benji will look at a company website and make assumptions that can be presented as facts. We are training Benji to understand the distinction between assumption and facts.
  • If a prospect’s colleague replies to you or calls you, without replying to the thread, then Benji won’t see this message or know about the phone call. It’s important you then pause outreach to that prospect to ensure they don’t continue to receive messages.
  • Bounces: we are constantly looking to improve our data accuracy, but we typically receive a small percentage of bounced messages. These should be automatically identified, and replaced with new prospects, but if not you can manually adjust these via The Doghouse.

These are some of the issues we’ve noticed and are building solutions around. If you spot other issues, then please do let us know.

Does Super Benji manage follow-up sequences?

Yes. Benji manages the follow-up sequence for your campaign, so prospects do not go cold after the first message.

Follow-ups are designed to feel thoughtful and relevant, not pushy or generic. Benji keeps the conversation moving across email and LinkedIn, helping you stay visible without manually chasing every lead yourself.

The sequence is made up of a 4-step email sequence, with each message being sent once a week for 4 weeks, and a LinkedIn sequence that begins with a connection request, then once the prospect connects it proceeds with a weekly LinkedIn message, once a week for 4 weeks. If a reply is received at any point, then this automated sequence stops and briefing pack &/or reply is sent, depending on your settings.

Does Super Benji support both LinkedIn and email outreach?

Yes. Super Benji supports both email and LinkedIn outreach.

Depending on your campaign and plan, Benji can help with personalised emails, LinkedIn messages and follow-ups, giving you a multi-channel outbound campaign without needing to manage everything manually.

Where do the insights and research on prospects come from?

Benji uses a mix of licensed data providers and publicly available business information to understand relevant prospects and to personalise the message around their situation.

These insights are sourced from podcasts, blogs, articles, news mentions, linkedin posts, their company website,  industry publications, RSS feeds and other publicly available sources. We subscribe to a range of sources to conduct deep research on each individual and their company to understand their context, allowing us to have ultrapersonalised messages that feel well researched and personal.

The aim is to build a useful, business-relevant picture of each prospect so your outreach feels timely, specific and relevant.

What sort of content does Benji use to personalise messages?

Benji looks for useful signals that can make outreach feel timely and personal.

There are typically ±8 triggers that Benji has identified specifically for you, that would make sense for you to reach out to people. These can be reviewed and optimised as part of the onboarding process.

Triggers might include company news, recent funding, new hires, product launches, awards, partnerships, LinkedIn activity, hiring trends, blog posts, industry reports or other public information.

Based on these triggers, Benji then assesses the research he’s done to find the most appropriate insight to reference as part of the outreach. If there is a relevant reason to start a conversation, Benji is built to find it and turn it into a strong outreach hook.

Who is responsible for using prospect data lawfully?

Super Benji takes care to source prospect data from reputable licensed providers and publicly available sources.

When Super Benji sources and supplies prospect data, Super Benji acts as an independent Controller for that sourcing activity. Once prospect data is made available to you through the platform, you become an independent Controller for your own use of that data, including any outbound communications you send.

That means you are responsible for making sure your own outreach complies with applicable laws, including UK GDPR, EU GDPR, PECR and any equivalent regulations.

Is my monthly prospect allowance guaranteed?

Your monthly prospect allowance is the maximum number of prospects Benji may contact in a calendar month, not a guaranteed sending volume.

Actual sending volumes may be lower depending on factors such as the time it takes to set-up your campaign, the time it takes to approve prospects, the health of your inbox health, the capacity of your LinkedIn subscription, campaign pauses, delayed approvals, changes to messaging, or compliance concerns.

Benji’s job is not just to send as much as possible, but to run outbound in a way that protects quality, relevance and deliverability.

What pricing plans are available?

Super Benji offers a range of plans to suit different business sizes and outbound goals, from founders just getting started to larger teams looking to scale.

For the latest plan details, pricing and feature comparisons, please visit our pricing page:

Are prices inclusive of VAT?

No. Prices shown are exclusive of VAT, which will be added at the applicable rate where required.

What results can I expect to see?

Results vary depending on your offer, audience, market, campaign strategy and inbox health, but Benji is designed to improve the quality and consistency of your outbound.

Expected positive reply ranges vary by plan, but typically we expect a reply rate of between 2-10%, with some campaigns generating up to +30% reply rates. While we don’t guarantee results, our monthly plans allow you to try Benji without any long-term commitments. We do work hard to ensure your campaigns are performing, and are happy to jump on a call and provide you with advice and guidance to help maximize your results.

Do you guarantee deliverability, replies or meetings?

No. We do not guarantee that messages will be delivered, opened, read, replied to, or converted into meetings or deals.

Outbound performance depends on many external factors, including your audience, offer, inbox health, market timing, messaging, domain reputation and platform restrictions.

What Benji does is improve the quality, relevance and consistency of your outbound, giving every campaign a stronger chance of starting the right conversations.

While we don’t guarantee results, our monthly plans allow you to try Benji without any long-term commitments. We do work hard to ensure your campaigns are performing, and are happy to jump on a call and provide you with advice and guidance to help maximize your results.

How is Super Benji different from other outbound tools?

Most outbound tools give you the software, then leave you to do the hard part yourself.

You still have to define your audience, build the list, research each prospect, write the messages, manage follow-ups and track everything manually.

Super Benji does more of the work for you.

Benji researches your business, suggests your ideal customer profile, finds relevant prospects, writes personalised messages and helps run the campaign. You simply review the example messages, approve the prospects and launch.

Is Super Benji like LinkedIn Sales Navigator or Apollo?

Super Benji can sit alongside tools like LinkedIn and would typically replace Apollo in a GTM stack. As Benji does both the prospecting, research and sending, it makes tools like Apollo less relevant, unless you’re using Apollo as a CRM-type tool.

Premium LinkedIn is recommended and will allow Benji to send connection requests to a larger number of prospects. Without this, your linkedin campaign will be less effective and more delayed. You will only need the most basic premium LinkedIn account to support Super Benji outreach.

The goal of Super Benji is to help simplify your GTM stack, allowing you to focus on actually selling the product.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes, cancellation depends on the plan you choose.

For Beginner, Basic & Business Benji which are managed via the Doghouse, you can cancel at any time. For Bespoke Benji, or campaigns which are managed for you by our Pals, you can cancel with 14 days’ written notice. For annual or Enterprise plans, you can cancel with one month’s written notice, effective at the end of your current subscription term.

Cancelling stops future payments, but it does not recall messages already sent, and unused prospect allowance is not refunded.

What support is available?

Support depends on your plan.

Self-service plans are designed so you can get started quickly through The Doghouse and include email support and  live-chat support. Higher-tier plans include additional support to help you with campaign strategy, and we offer dedicated account management for enterprise customers.

For bespoke campaigns, one of our outreach experts can help shape your strategy, review your messaging and support campaign optimisation.

How does Super Benji handle GDPR compliance?

Super Benji takes data protection seriously.

For Customer Data you provide to us, Super Benji acts as a Processor and processes that data according to your instructions. For Prospect Data sourced by Super Benji, Super Benji acts as an independent Controller when sourcing and supplying that data.

Once prospect data is made available to you, you are responsible for your own use of it, including ensuring you have the right lawful basis for outbound communications and that your privacy notices and opt-out processes are appropriate.

You can also request access, correction or deletion of your data where applicable.

Do you use my data to train AI models?

Super Benji does not use Customer Data to train, fine-tune or improve AI models for other customers or for general purposes without your prior written consent.

Customer Data is used as needed to deliver the service to you. Data may only be used in anonymised or aggregated form where it cannot be re-identified.

Who owns the prospect data Benji finds?

Prospect data sourced by Super Benji remains the property of Super Benji and/or its data providers.

You can use that data for your own sales and marketing activity, including storing it in your CRM and using it for re-engagement campaigns, as long as your use complies with applicable data protection laws.

You cannot resell or transfer prospect data to third parties.

Does Super Benji manage domains and inboxes?

For Bespoke and Enterprise plans, Super Benji may help set up and manage additional outbound domains to protect your primary domain and support deliverability.

Inbox health, domain reputation, DNS settings and email provider compliance still matter, and no outbound platform can guarantee perfect deliverability. Benji may run inbox health checks and offer recommendations, but sending volumes may be adjusted if inbox conditions make it sensible to do so.

Can I use a generic inbox?

Named personal inboxes coming from a company domain usually work better than generic inboxes.

Each user should generally use their own named email inbox and LinkedIn account. Generic addresses such as info@ or hello@ may reduce effectiveness and are not recommended for personalised outbound. Similarly with @gmail.com, @hotmail.com or other emails which are not linked to a particular organisation.

Can I try Super Benji before choosing a plan?

Yes. You can start by signing up for a free lead on the Super Benji homepage.

Benji will show you the kind of prospect research and personalised outreach he can create, so you can see the value before committing to a plan.

You can also see additional example prospects, optimise the prospects Benji is finding, and edit and optimise the example messages, prior to subscribing, via The Doghouse. This whole process is entirely free, giving you a sense of the types of prospects and messages Benji can send, prior to you committing to a subscription.
